Archaeological finds to be restored in UB

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ancient archaeological discoveries have been found in Uzuur Gyalaan site which is in the territory of Monkhkhairkhan soum of Khovd province.

The archaeological finds which have been brought to Ulaanbaatar, will be restored here under a resolution of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the law on protection of cultural heritage.

Archaeologists have found over 20 discoveries such as a mummified body wrapped up with felt, saddle, bridle, clay vase, wooden bowl, trough, iron kettle, wholly preserved remains of a horse, and ancient clothing. There also were pillows, a sheep skull, a felt bag, goat bones and a small leather bag designed to carry a cup.

Scientists established that the archaeological findings belong to 6-7th centuries.
