Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The annual international conference and exhibition under the theme ‘Energy Mongolia – 2017’ is going to be hosted at Corporate Hotel & Convention Center, Ulaanbaatar on May 17-18, announced its organizers during a press conference today, May 15.
The conference aims to solve the challenges the energy sector is facing in Mongolia, learn from the experiences of other countries and attract investment.
Co-organized by the Ministry of Energy and Energy Development Center of Mongolia for the third year, the conference will be attended by over 200 delegates representing more than 100 organizations and entities from countries such as the Russian Federation, the People’s Republic of China, the US, Germany, Switzerland and Thailand.
According to Ch.Chinbat, General Manager of Energy Development Center, the conference will be divided into several side sessions concerning the progress and future of Mongolia’s energy sector, achievements, renewable energy and air pollution.
“We will also introduce projects that need investment such as the expansions of Third Thermal Plant and thermal plants of Darkhan and Erdenet”, he said.
