Oyu Tolgoi donates emergency equipment and instruments

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Fulfilling its social responsibility, Oyu Tolgoi LLC today donated equipment and instruments to be utilized during emergency situations and natural hazards.
Oyu Tolgoi CEO Armando Torres handed over a certificate, formalizing the donation of equipment, vehicles and instruments such as 2 ‘Land Cruiser’ vehicles, 359 protective costumes, 200 water tanks of 1 ton, a 6-ton foldable water tank and more to Ts.Tsengel, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism.
Moreover, the company also provides a ‘Land Cruiser’ vehicle, a 12-ton water truck and a truck for temporary use during wildfire fighting missions.
The authorities of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, National Emergency Management Agency and General Police Department were present at the ceremony held Wednesday on the central square.
