The "Mongolia Mining 2018" International expo will be held at the  Buyant-Ukhaa Sports Complex on April 04-06, with aim to introduce Mongolian mining sector's policy and provide opportunities to keep pace with latest technologies of global mining industry and attract investment.

Today, main organizer of the expo T.Battulga informed about the upcoming event.  The 8th edition of the international exhibition will be attended by 130 companies from 18 countries including participants from Mongolia, Russia, China, Canada, Czech Republic, USA and Germany.  Mr T. Battulga noted that more than 2000 representatives of foreign and domestic mining companies received their mandate to observe the exhibition.

T.Battulga, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Exhibition:
“120 companies participated in 'Mongolia Mining 2017' and this year a number of participants has reached to 130, the exhibition booths were sold out two months ago. However, companies that are interested in participating in this year's exhibition are still requesting to buy exhibition booths”.

Mr T. Battulga said that "During the expo discussions will be organized on specific mining topics in addition to the exhibit. Last year, the coal industry was discussed and this year expo will focus on non-ferrous metals. The main thing that makes the mining industry sustainable and stimulating economic growth is supplier companies.  In particular, 'Oyu Tolgoi' company has bought USD 500 million of products and services from suppliers in 2017.
