Golden Ger International Film Festival to be held online

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 8th Golden Ger International Film Festival will be held virtually at Skymedia and SkyGo platforms on June 4-7.
This year’s festival has received 558 entries from 70 countries until May 15. Of the 28 submissions from Mongolia, 14 have been shortlisted in the Mongolian competition section and 30 films have been selected from international submissions in the international competition section.
According to the Mongolian Film Institute, this year’s festival will also host the world premiere of The Fourfold, a short film by Alisi Telengut, a Canadian artist who has a Mongolian descent. Overall, 4 of her films ‘Nutag' (Homeland), Tears of Inge, Tengri, and The Fourfold will be shown in Spotlight on Alisi Telengut: The Fourfold in the online film festival.
The international film festival has been organized by the Mongolian Film Institute since 2013 to promote art films and filmmakers in Mongolia.
