Saint Muse Theater Awards presented

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The award ceremony of the 15th
Gegeen Muza (Saint Muse) international theater festival took place at Khun
Theater on August 30.
Over 10 local theaters, ensembles, and productions and 12
foreign artists competed across five categories, namely, melodrama, musical
play, children’s play, two-person play, and drama in this year’s festival.
At the event, the Best Stage Director Award went to Russian
Director Soijin Zhambalova for her work ‘The Flight. A Story of Bilchir’,
while a Russian artist was awarded the Best Stage Designer for the same play.
Also, young artists of Dornod aimag took five of the six awards in the
children’s play category with their play ‘King of the Monsters’
Saint Muse award for the best male artist went to State Honored Artist of Mongolia B.Jargalsaikhan while the winner for the best female artist was young artist B.Zolzaya.
This year, the international theater festival received entries
from artists of Mongolia, Russia, China, Germany, Austria, Switzerland,
Ukraine, North Macedonia, India, Emirates, Greece, Spain, and Italy.
