The Steed wins two awards at international festival

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Steed film based on the Brown
Horse poem by state prize laureate, renowned poet Ch Lkhamsuren won two awards at the Ouray international film festival of the United
States. The Steed had been selected as the opening film of the international
festival.
The Ouray international film festival received 500
entries this year and announced the recipients of its awards on September 18-20. The Mongolian film received two prizes namely, the Excellence in International Filmmaking medallion
and the Audience Favorite Award from the festival, thus winning six
international awards so far.
The film directed by G.Erdenebileg premiered in January
2019 and competed for an Oscar nomination for the Best International Feature
Film in the same year.
