State Philharmonic Orchestra instruments to be replaced with MNT 2 billion

U.Khurelsukh, Minister of Culture S.Chuluun, MP, Chair of the Parliamentary
Standing Committee of Education, Culture, Science and Sports J.Munkhbat, MP
B.Jargalmaa, State Secretary of the Ministry of Culture G.Erdenebat and other
officials visited the Mongolian State Philharmonic Orchestra.
Orchestra artists informed the Prime Minister of the
necessity of promptly replacing some musical instruments of the Symphony
Orchestra and the Morin Khuur Ensemble in order to improve their performance and help them
honor their duty of promoting the art of music in accordance with the national
development policy and the government’s cultural policy.
Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh familiarized himself with the
workplace of the orchestra members including the rehearsal hall and undertook
to resolve the financing of MNT 2 billion required for the musical instrument upgrades at the
cabinet meeting.
