Instruments of Symphony Orchestra and Morin Khuur Ensemble to be replaced

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on September
30, the Cabinet decided to allocate MNT 1.8 billion from the Government Reserve
Fund for renewing musical instruments of the State Philharmonic
Orchestra and MNT 200 million for the Morin Khuur Ensemble.
During his visit to the Ministry of Culture and its
affiliated organizations on September 28, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh pledged
to earmark funds necessary for the instrument upgrades.
The State Philharmonic Orchestra annually gives over 120
concerts on international and national stages and next year marks its 50th
anniversary.
