Embassy to Vietnam holds cultural event

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On October 20, the Embassy of
Mongolia in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam organized a cultural event for representatives
of around 20 countries from the diplomatic corps in Hanoi, Vietnam, at its
building.
At the event, a model of Mongolian traditional dwelling, ger, was displayed and an art exhibition and cultural performances took place. Mongolia’s traditional clothing, deel, and Mongolian script calligraphy were also promoted. Specifically, Mongolian students in Vietnam presented horse-head fiddle, dance and live art performances for the guests and wrote their names in Mongolian calligraphy.
