Cultural heritage of Erdenezuu Museum to be conserved under international project

/MONTSAME/ A project “Improving emergency preparedness in Erdenezuu Museum”
will be financed with EUR 17.780.
In March 2020, Prince Claus Fund of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the German Gerda Henkel Foundation announced Open Call for Proposals, specifically aimed at Emergency Preparedness for Cultural Heritage under Threat. And the project “Improving Emergency Preparedness in Erdenezuu Museum” proposed by the Mongolian Council for Cultural Heritage Networking and Communications has been selected.
With implementation of the project, a thorough action plan to be implemented during emergency will be developed in addition to organizing training and exercise for fire disaster prevention, installing lightning arrester and improving alarm system in prevention of the risk of theft.
The project will be carried out from January to July 2021.
