COVID-19: 1,182 new cases, 11 deaths reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On November 5, 1,182 new cases have been detected after conducting PCR tests nationwide within the past 24 hours, reported the Ministry of Health. 

 

More specifically, 783 new cases were detected in the capital city, with 339 cases in rural regions. 

 

As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mongolia now stands at 366,421. 


Furthermore, 11 new COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, raising the country’s death toll to 1,715. Currently, 14,336 people are receiving hospital treatment for COVID-19 whilst 41,834 people with mild symptoms of COVID-19 are being isolated at home.

 

Of the total patients currently undergoing treatment at hospitals, there are 6,473 patients in mild, 5,928 in serious, 1,629 in critical, and 306 in very critical condition.
