NFT of ‘One Day of the World’ sold for MNT 350 million

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. In the framework of the ‘Month of Cultural Creativity’, the artwork named ‘One Day of the World’ by artist N.Sergelen was introduced as an NFT (non-fungible token) at the National Art Gallery of Mongolia on November 8.
Made by artists N.Sergelen, S.Ganzam, Sh.Sainzul, and N.Khosbayar, the artwork is the biggest Mongolian artwork to be drawn with traditional art techniques using gouache and watercolor on a 52.5 sq.m canvas (with a ratio of 21 meters x 2.5 meters).
The group of artists spent about 10 years doing corresponding research and painting for the artwork. With a focus on certain aspects such as the way of life, wildlife and plants, natural formations, traditions and customs, cultures, values, and structures that represent the countries, 193 countries have been featured on a single canvas. Consisting of a total of over 5,000 illustrations done by Mongolian art techniques, the artwork carries the unique features of a Mongolian artwork.
Following the introduction of the artwork, certain sections of the art piece were sold for about MNT 350 million. More specifically, five sections of the artwork that depicted Singapore, the U.K., Hungary, Australia, and the city of New York were sold on the market.
