Piloting in-service TVET teacher training packages

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The ‘Cooperative Technical and
Vocational Education and Training’ (cTVET) project supports the development of
pre-service and in-service qualification system for TVET teacher development.
Based on the technical and pedagogical skills assessments carried out among
TVET teachers, further training packages for TVET teachers in different
occupational fields have been developed. Training packages are developed by
TVET teachers in cooperation with private sector engineers and technical staff.
From 23rd – 28th of Feb, 2022 – three trainings in the
construction field have been multiplied by TVET teachers and technicians, who
took part in developing training packages. Multiplication training was
organized at Construction polytechnic college providing hands on practical
training for 6 TVET teachers and 9 technician and workers from construction
companies.
Commissioned by the BMZ, the cTVET project is co-financed by
KOICA Mongolia and implemented by GIZ in cooperation with Government of
Mongolia.
