Children's Participation in Social Networks to Be Regulated by Law

Ulaanbaatar, May 7, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Education of Mongolia Naranbayar Purevsuren announced today that the Government of Mongolia is working to submit the first draft Law on Regulating the Participation of Children Under the Age of 16 on Social Media to the Parliament of Mongolia.
The Minister said, “A Working Group comprising representatives from four ministries has been established to develop the concept for the draft Law. The draft Law was presented to the National Council for Children of Mongolia, which convened yesterday. The Cabinet of Mongolia will soon discuss the draft Law.”
Citizens will be able to submit their suggestions on the draft Law. Additionally, the draft Law will be made available on the D-Parliament website of the State Great Khural of Mongolia.
