Herders’ voices reflected in National Park Management Plan
The newly-established Khomyn Tal National Park in Zavkhan aimag is progressing towards upgrading conservation of the 100+ Przewaski’s horses and their habitat. Khomyn Talyn Takhi (KTT) non-governmental organization is working on developing the National Park Management Plan – the key document to demonstrate the NGO’s sufficient competence to fulfill the duties of a Special Protected Area Administration on behalf of the Government of Mongolia.

Mentorship Programme for Mongolian Youth Launched
On 18 September, the “All for YOUth, YOUth for all” project, funded by the European Union, launched its’ Mentorship Program for youth. During the official launching of the Mentorship Programme, mentors and mentees were introduced to each other and were further guided towards fruitful mentoring.

Prime Minister works at mining companies in Selenge aimag
During his working trip to Selenge aimag last week, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh visited BTEG LLC or Bold Tumur Eruu Gol сompany, which has been engaged in iron ore exploration, production and exports in a place called Bayangol in Eruu Gol soum of the Selenge aimag since 2007.

Over 320 valuable items of Mongolian craftsmen on display
There are more than 3,000 valuable arts and historical items are being preserved at the Zanabazar Museum of Fine Arts, which is renowned as the museum for the works of ‘High Saint’ or Undur Gegeen Zanabazar, Mongolia's first theocrat ruler, prominent statesman, religious and cultural figure. The museum in Ulaanbaatar, is showcasing over 320 items from its rich treasury for an ongoing exhibition ‘Best Works of Mongolian Craftsmanship’.

Total confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mongolia at 312
Over the past weekend, one new COVID-19 case was confirmed after 1,749 tests were done between September 18-20. The new case was detected from a 50-year old freight driver – Russian, who entered the country on September 17 through Altanbulag border point with Russia in Selenge aimag.

Charter flight from Istanbul brings 253 Mongolians
