Mongolian Premier Meets Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom

Luvsannamsrai met with Former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Tony Blair on
January 18, 2024, during the 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum
(WEF) in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland.
Prime Minister Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai said
he was happy to meet and exchange views with an influential world politician,
and thanked Mr. Tony Blair for having clear information about Mongolia as he
had visited Mongolia three times and met with the Presidents and Prime Ministers.
The Prime Minister highlighted that in 1992, Mongolia consistently chose the
path of democratic development and adopted its democratic Constitution. Over
the past 30 years, we have gone through a lot of challenges to develop the
basic values of democracy, such as speech, publishing, voting, being elected,
and religion. However, he is pleased to say that Mongolians have consistently
made progress in the development of democracy. Mongolia values learning from
good international governance experiences. The Premier emphasized that
significant progress has been made in strengthening democracy.
