MP presents about Sanitation management at NEA Mayors Forum

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/  At the North-East Asian Mayors’ Forum, a member of the State Great Khural (Parliament) Ts.Oyungerel gave presentation about general management of water, hygiene and sanitations facilities on September 22, Day 2.

The “Green City Development” themed forum of mayors from North-East Asian region has been divided into seven sub-conferences. Ts.Oyungerel MP addressed the sixth conference – “Sustainable urban water management”.

She underlined that one of the pressing issues before the capital city is soil pollution, and suggested that the best solution would be building sewage water treatment plants, introducing Ulaanbaatar into western technologies and solutions.

The Second NEA Mayors’ Forum was attended by mayors of nine cities of six North-East Asian countries, along with deputy mayors and over 160 delegates from international organizations.
