Premier gathers heads of force organizations

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg convened November 14 heads of all such organizations to give some orders.

The gathered--Minister of Defense, Secretary of the National Security Council, the chairmen of the General Headquarters of the Mongolian Armed Forces, General Border Protection Authority, General Police Department, and National Emergency Management Agency--were given obligations regarding the terrorist attacks occurred in Paris, violence prevention, actions to implement in case of such emergencies, and ways of dealing with consequences.

At the beginning of this meeting, the PM expressed condolences on behalf of the Government of Mongolia to the people of France on the loss of more than 150 people in series of terrorist attacks occurred in Paris on the night of November 13-14 (by UB time).

He underlined that a feature of the democracy is a peaceful way of solving problems. “We have a necessity to steer the public mentality to a thinking that does not tolerate any form of violence in settling problems. We have to shift to a way of thinking that does not accept the call via media and social networks for violent acts and terrorism, and that eliminates such appeals on-the-spot”, he stressed.

Countries with highly developed laws and moral consider that appeals to the violence and an instigation of the violence is a betraying one’s country, he said. "Our state bodies will take all necessary measures for sophisticating the legal environment for eradicating violence, our media and other institutions must commence campaigns for anti-violence mentality," he underlined.
