Temperatures dropping dramatically in most regions
WeatherUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Snowfall and blizzard are expected in western, central and eastern regions on December 25, in central region on December 26, in some parts of western region and in western part of central region on December 28.
Winds will get stronger on Altai Mountains on December 27 and in southern region on December 28, reaching 12-14 m/sec.
Temperatures will fall. The nighttime temperature will be -46-41 Celsius, and the daytime, -32-27, in the depression of Darkhad and in the banks of Ider and Tes rivers.
In the banks of Uvs Lake, Khuren Belchir, Orkhon-Selenge, Kharaa, Eroo, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz and Khalkh rivers, the nighttime temperature will be -37-32, and the daytime, -26-21.
In southern part of the Gobi, the nighttime temperature will be -23-18, and the daytime, -18-13 Celsius.
Temperatures will begin to rise in western region on December 25, and in most regions on the following days.
