Hakuho Davaajargal in Guinness World Records Book having most wins in pro-sumo
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian Yokozuna, Grand champion of professional sumo, Hakuho-titled M.Davaajargal now holds a Guinness World Record for having most wins in top division of professional sumo wrestling, having won 34 bashos (bimonthly competitions) as of March 22 of 2015. He also won July’s basho this year.
M.Davaajargal, the 69th Yokozuna of Japanese professional sumo, already possesses records of most wins, most consecutive wins, most wins without any defeats and most wins with additional matches in the history of professional sumo.
After winning Hatsu Basho last January, he broke the most wins record (32 wins), which belonged to Taiho, a Japanese Yokozuna, and remained unbeaten since 1971.
Hakuho M.Davaajargal, accordingly, set a goal to have 40 wins.
