16 thousand horses still missing due to blizzard

Tuv /MONTSAME/ A total of 52 thousand horses from 12 soums were driven to the winds due to the blizzard that happened earlier this month and currently 36 thousand horses have been found. According to the Tuv aimag's Food and Agriculture Department the remaining 16 thousand horses are still missing and they might have gone to territories of Umnugobi, Gobisumber, Dorngobi aimag and further might have passed the border of China.

More than 100 people were involved in the search for 36 thousand horses. Following the aimag Governor's decree three working groups have been established and working in Dorngobi, Gobisumber, Umnugobi and Dundgobi aimags. The working groups reported that they have found several herd of horses.

Also, the aimag's police department is collaborating with the searching groups.
