Proposals for new projects and programs in education discussed with WB

L.Enkh-Amgalan held a meeting with World Bank's Human Development Program
Leader for China, Mongolia and Korea Ruslan Yemtsov.
The Education Quality Reform Project that is being implemented
since 2015 with funding from the World Bank comes to an end on December 31, 2022.
To strengthen the achievements of the project and ensure sustainability, Minister
L.Enkh-Amgalan proposed jointly implementing a new project for 6-9th grade
students and another project to support the comprehensive development of
children under 5 and improve education quality and access for children through
results-based financing.
The World Bank representative expressed readiness to
cooperate in efforts including improving education quality through addressing
learning loss before and after the school closure, integrating secondary
education with vocational education, implementing development program for
children under 5, investigating learning loss in primary and middle
grade students, and strengthening cross-sector capacity and digital skills.
