PoliticsUlaanbaatar, September 5, 2024 /MONTSAME/. At the regular Cabinet meeting on September 4, 2024, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation, and Communications of Mongolia Baatarkhuu Tsend presented the operation of the Mongolian Government Information Portal: https://www.gov.mn/mn.
The Law of Mongolia on Public Information Transparency mandates that government organizations must publicly upload 68 types of information on their websites. Members of the Government, the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, and the Governors of aimags were instructed to upload and update information on the Mongolian Government Information Portal within their respective sectors and areas.
The website https://www.gov.mn/mn consolidates services and information from 6,006 government organizations. In addition, it includes services and information from state-owned enterprises and their websites on a single platform. In the future, the Government aims at implementing a standardized website model for all government organizations.
Citizens will have access to all necessary information and services in one place, increasing the transparency of government activities, familiarizing themselves with implemented policies and decisions, improving feedback between the Government and citizens, and creating opportunities for citizens to provide feedback. Citizens can submit their suggestions for making government activities more transparent by emailing 1111@gov.mn.
