Single Ladies II named ‘most-watched’ film of 2015
Art & CultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ According to statistics provided by kinosan.mn, the last-year’s highest grossing film was “Tankhai Teegch” (The Wild Surrogate), a film about a desperate but a high-spirited woman who sought ways to earn easy money to pay her husband’s debts and decided to become a surrogate mother.
The clients go through epic adventure throughout the pregnancy when their surrogate turned out to be a rowdy criminal being charged with several fraud offenses.
“Sodura” became the first runner-up as the highest grossing film. The film is about a girl from taiga’s reindeer herding community, who heads to the big city and later returns to the hometown with broken heart and a child.
Single Ladies II was the most watched film of 2015, followed by “Mash Nuuts” (Top Secret).
