Model hospital building to be constructed by Austrian Vamed Engineering

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A new model hospital building with 150-200 beds will be constructed in Songinokhairkhan district by Vamed Engineering company of Austria. The company won the bid of construction and equipment supply of the hospital, which will be built within the Fourth Health Sector Development project. Today, the Ministry of Health established a contract with the Vamed Engineering Company.
The Fourth Health sector development project is being implemented with funding of grant aid and loans by Asian Development Bank. The model hospital will provide 7-8 types of specialized health aid with its expected annual serving capacity of 47000 persons for ambulatory care and 10 000 persons for hospitalization.
State Secretary of the Health Ministry D.Ochirbat said that the project with a high cost of USD24.8 million investment would be realized successfully at the scheduled time and the bid winner Vamed Engineering Company would perform its duties with high quality.
