Mongolia’s first opera for children re-staged

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Family, Youth and Child Development Agency in partnership with Iveelt Anujin Fund started re-staging ‘Seeker for happiness’, a Mongolia’s first opera for children, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Mongolian Children’s Palace (MCP).
An opening performance of the opera, held on April 4 in the MCP, was dedicated to disabled children, children living under difficult circumstances and/or from care centers.
Previously, adults played in the roles of the opera, while this time, children of the MCP played in the opera.
