Marathon runner G.Khishigsaikhan leads Chengdu Marathon

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. IM G.Khishigsaikhan came out first place in the women’s 42 km race of the Chengdu Marathon, with a time of 2:39:40.
For the men’s 42 km race, State Honored Sportsman B.Ser-Od took third place in 2:13:08, while N.Munkhbayar ended the race in 5th inh 2:13:57.
Many great runners participate in Chinese marathons by invite, as the marathons are considered high class. Despite the large number of runners that participated in the Chengdu marathon, runners from Kenya, Ethiopia and Japan had great success.
