Cabinet approves health insurance fee

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In 2019, the health insurance premium
amount will be four percent of an individual’s monthly salary or an income
equal to it, divided in half between the employee and the employer.
Self-employed persons, herders, students, minors and those included in the Provision 6.1.12 of the Health Insurance Law will pay a monthly fee of MNT 3200 and foreigners, stateless persons, citizens whose income source is only pension, members of a family in need of social welfare assistance, parents raising their children under the age of two (three for twins and triplets), soldiers and prisoners will have to pay MNT 6400.
