Rainfall and wet snow on the way

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Rainfall and wet snow is expected in most parts of central aimags and in some parts of the eastern region today on September 3. The National Agency of Meteorology and Environment has issued a warning for temperature drops in farming lands on September 4-6.
Precipitation is expected in eastern parts of western aimags, in some parts of central and Gobi aimags, and in most parts of eastern aimags on September 4, in some parts of central and eastern aimags on September 5 and 6, and in northern parts of central and eastern aimags on September 7.
Wind speed will be 14-16 m/sec in the Gobi and plains during most times.
With temperature drops throughout the country, in the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentii, in the head of Zavkhan, near Khurenbelchir, and in the basins of Ider, Tes, Tuul and Terelj rivers, the temperature will range from -4 to +1 degrees Celsius during the night, and +6 to +11 during the day.
In the depression of the Great Lakes and in the southern Gobi region, the night-time temperature will be +8 to +13 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +17 to +22 degrees Celsius.
In other areas, temperatures are expected to be 0 to +5 during the night, and +11 to +16 during the day.
