Warm temperatures expected for next few days

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Warm temperatures are expected for the next few days, reports the National Agency for Meteorology and Environment.
While slight precipitation is expected for the Altai Mountains and the Khangai Mountain range on October 6, rain and wet snow are expected for most parts of the western region and some parts of central aimags on October 7, in most parts of western and central aimags, western parts of Gobi aimags, and northern parts of eastern aimags on October 8, in most parts of central and eastern aimags and eastern parts of Gobi aimags on October 9.
Wind speed will reach 16-18 m/sec in the Altai Mountains on October 6 and 7, in most parts of the country on October 8, and in the country’s eastern region on October 9.
In the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, and Khuvsgul, near Khurenbelchir, in the head of Zavkhan river, and in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the temperature will range from -3 to -8 degrees Celsius during the night, and +6 to +11 during the day.
In the southern Gobi region, the night-time temperature will be +2 to +7 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +13 to +18 degrees Celsius.
In other areas, temperatures are expected to be -3 to +2 during the night, and +9 to +14 during the day. Temperatures are expected to drop from October 8.
