Ambassador of Germany visits Orkhon aimag

Orkhon /MONTSAME/. Governor of Orkhon aimag S.Batjargal received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mongolia Jörn Rosenberg and Resident Representative of KfW Michael Sumser-Hellstern.
During the meeting, the Ambassador expressed interest in expanding bilateral relations and cooperation by cooperating in the sectors of education and culture.
As the aimag mainly cooperates with the country of Germany in the education sector as well as the development of SMEs, Ambassador Jörn Rosenberg visited School no.14 in the framework of his working visit. Through a partnership program connecting schools of Mongolia and Germany, the school involves students in German language classes, and sends its top graduates to study in Germany.
Last year, five graduates enrolled in higher education institutions in the field of technology and engineering in Germany. Despite the difficult circumstance posed by the global pandemic, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany has provided support to the students by ensuring a smooth process for the issuance of student visas.
