Mongolian Team Wins Gold at Harbin International Ice Sculpture Competition
SocietyUlaanbaatar, January 7, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 36th Harbin International Ice Sculpture Competition 2025 was held on January 2-4, 2025, at the Harbin Ice and Snow World, China.
Over 60 ice sculptors from various countries, including Mongolia, China, South Korea, Russia, Spain, the United States, Ecuador, France, India, Mexico, Serbia, and Montenegro, demonstrated their talents at the Harbin International Ice Sculpture Competition 2025. Four Mongolian teams competed with remarkable skill, and two of them earned prestigious accolades. The team of Z. Ganjargal and Kh. Altankhuu won the gold medal, while D. Tserenbat and B. Bayarsaikhan secured the silver medal.
Mongolian ice sculptors have been participating regularly in the Harbin International Ice Sculpture Competition since 2010 and are rightfully recognized among the strongest contenders.
Also, the 27th Harbin International Snow Sculpture Competition kicked off on January 6, 2025, bringing together over 100 snow sculptors from Mongolia, China, Russia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, India, France, Ecuador, Indonesia, and Spain.
