2025 Asia Triathlon Duathlon Cup to Take Place in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar, September 1, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The 2025 Asia Triathlon Duathlon Cup Ulaanbaatar will be held at Khui Doloon Khudag, on September 5-6, 2025. Mongolia Triathlon, in coordination with World Triathlon and Asia Triathlon, extended invitations to all National Federations in Asia to participate in the event.


The competition will feature elite men’s and women’s categories with athletes from Mongolia, the Republic of Singapore, Japan, the People’s Republic of China, and the Republic of Indonesia. More than 80 participants are expected to compete in the “Ulaanbaatar Duathlon 2025 Age Group” race for amateur athletes.


Elite athletes will complete a course of 5 km running, 30 km cycling, and a final 5 km run, while amateur participants will run 2 km, cycle 10 km, and finish with a 2 km run.


Prior to the competition, from September 2-4, a Level 1 referees’ course of the World Triathlon will be held in Ulaanbaatar, with 24 referees from Mongolia and the People’s Republic of China scheduled to attend.


The race schedule is as follows:

·         Friday, September 5: 11:00 – Race course familiarization (Elite); 16:00 – Athlete briefing (Elite)

·         Saturday, September 6: 09:00 – Elite race; 13:30 – Medal ceremony; 15:00 – Age group race


The Organizing Committee will provide free accommodation for two elite athletes (including one female) and one official from participating National Federations, covering two nights and three days at the official hotel, Nairamdal Camp in Ulaanbaatar, as well as airport transfers, local transportation to the race venue, and entry fees for the two elite athletes (USD 100 each).
