Rare findings of Ordu Baliq under restoration
A fine-designed ancient well was discovered by the ‘Orkhon’ Mongolian-German joint team of archaeologists in the ruins of Ordu Baliq last autumn. Several items including two varnished wooden columns, large gold-plated lock, marble lions, wooden tomb, bronze bell with Chinese writing and various clay utensils were found at the bottom of the well.
