Students create National Flag at Central Square

In August 2017, “Oyunii Undraa” high-school’s 3333 students chanted “Independence” poem by State Honored Author D.Purevdorj at the Central Square on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of establishment of the school. A similar event took place at the Central Square on September 18. Pupils of Hobby school stacked up paper pyramids and built the National Flag of Mongolia. They aim to register the giant flag they made on the Guinness Book of World Records.
The paper flag is 48 meters in length, 24 meters in width and is comprised of over 10 thousand paper pyramids.
