Mongolian Boxers Claim Twelve Medals at World Boxing Cup European Series 2025

Ulaanbaatar, June 12, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Mongolian National Boxing Team is competing in the World Boxing Cup European Series 2025 under the guidance of the National Boxing Team Head Coach and Honored Coach Enkhtur Jadamba.
Their first
tournament was the "World Boxing Cup –
Feliks Stamm: Poland 2025" held in
Warsaw, Poland, where more than 250 boxers from 22 countries competed. Mongolian boxers
won three silver and two bronze medals. Specifically, international masters Battulga Aldarkhishig, Bilguunsaikhan Kharkhuu, and Enkhjargal Munguntsetseg won silver, and Lundaa Gantumur and Misheelt Battumur
won bronze medals, taking 5th place in the team standings.
After that, Mongolian
boxers took part in international joint training at the Heidelberg
Training Center in Germany and then participated in the Eindhoven Box Cup in the Netherlands. In this competition, in which about 350 boxers from 28 countries competed, the Mongolian
National Boxing Team sang the national anthem four times and raised the
national flag to the highest. In particular, Nomundari Enkh-Amgalan, International Masters Mungansaran Balsan, Yesugen Oyuntsetseg, and Enkhtur Tegshjargal won gold medals, while Enkhjargal Munguntsetseg and Battulga Aldarkhishig
won silver, and Michidmaa
Erdenedalai claimed the bronze medal. With the achievement
of four gold, two silver, and one bronze
medals, the National
Boxing Team secured second place in the team standings.
The third
tournament for the Mongolian
National Boxing Team will be the Grand Prix Usti Nad Labem in the Czech Republic. The champions of the Grand Prix will be announced on June 14, 2025.
