Team Mongolia Stands 23rd at III Asian Youth Games

3rd Asian Youth Games are being held under the auspices of the Olympic Council
of Asia, after a 12-year hiatus, featuring competitions in 26 sports
disciplines, in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain.
As of October 26, 2025, the People’s Republic of China leads the medal table among 45 participating Asian countries with a total of 51 medals: 26 gold, 18 silver, and 7 bronze. The host nation, Bahrain, represented by 204 athletes, ranked 9th with three gold, two silver, and one bronze medal, while team Mongolia is ranked 23rd with one silver and three bronze medals.
So far, Mongolia’s athletes, specifically one competitor in triathlon, one in teqball, seven in mixed martial arts, four in beach volleyball (4), six in athletics, two in boxing, and ten in taekwondo, have completed their tournaments, with the first groups already returning home.
Competitions in 3x3 basketball, volleyball, cycling, esports, table tennis, boxing, and taekwondo are ongoing, while events in swimming, judo, freestyle wrestling, beach wrestling, badminton, and ju-jitsu are set to take place in the coming days.
