At its plenary meeting on July 1, the State Great Khural approved the appointments of T.Ayursaikhan and S.Odontuya as Deputy Speakers of the parliament, with a majority of the MPs voting in favor of the new appointments.

Ulaanbaatar Mayor leaves office
On July 1, outgoing Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar S.Amarsaikhan handed over the stamp of the governor of the capital city and major policy documents for urban development to First Deputy Governor of the capital city J.Batbayasgalan as the former had been elected as a member of the parliament in the recent general election.
