Foundation laid for Nat’l Diagnostic and Medical Center
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A ceremony for laying the foundation of a building of the National Diagnostic and Medical Center was held Wednesday in the yard of the Second State Central Hospital on May 25. Present were, Prime Minister Ch.Saikhanbileg, Minister of Health and Sports S.Lambaa, PM’s advisor B.Urgamaltsetseg and the S.Korean ambassador Mr Oh Song.
PM Ch.Saikhanbileg said, in his speech, that the main approach for achieving the key objectives of the “Healthy Mongolian” program is to bring innovations in the medical equipment and instruments used in healthcare in Mongolia. Under administrations of Governments for Changes and for Solutions, 11 aimags now have got hospitals and diagnostic centers, equipped with latest in medical practice technologies costing about 23 billion MNT, he noted.
The above centers include Mongolia-Japan joint investment Medipass center in Erdenet and S.Korean investment Intermed hospital in Ulaanbaatar.
