21 voting machines fixed in Tuv aimag

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ General Election Committee convened to settle the issues concerning the failures of voting machines in Tuv aimag.
The working team, which consists of specialists from the General Intelligence Agency and Information Technology Center, as well as Information and Communication officers, has inspected the failures earlier today. According to the inspecting team, the ballot papers had incomplete barcodes printed.
Therefore, the balloting switched to manual operation in Tuv aimag and counted each ballot papers by hand, while re-programming the voting machines.
Tuv aimag has a total of 27 soums. The working team fixed the voting machines in 21 soums by 7PM and reported to be working in other 6 soums.
After fixing the delays, the working team will be inspecting the main cause of printing failures.
