Deputy Minister D.Zagdjav meets Indian Ambassador Suresh Babu

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On March 13, Deputy Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry D.Zagdjav met Ambassador of India to Mongolia Suresh Babu.
he Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude on inviting Minister D.Sumiyabazar to participate in the 16th International Energy Forum Ministerial Meeting to be held on April 10-12 in India and informed that he would represent Minister D.Sumiyabazar in the meeting, leading Mongolian delegations. He also thanked for the soft loan granted from India to establish oil refinery in Mongolia expressing his confidence that the project would be implemented successfully.
India’s state-owned company ‘Engineers India Limited’ has completed a feasibility study of the oil refinery to be built in Altanshiree soum of Dornogobi aimag. After assessment and analysis by externall experts, the feasibility study will be transferred to the Ministry, said the Deputy Minister.
Ambassador Suresh Babu delivered information about the international energy forum and requested Deputy Minister to meet with Indian Minister of Mining and mining companies during the forum to give information on cooperation possibilities in Mongolian mining sector.
