Chilly days expected to continue

According to the National Agency of Meteorology and Environment Monitoring (NAMEM),
the most areas will not have a precipitation, but have chilly days.
Altai, Khangai and Khuvsgul mountainous areas will have snow
flurries on January 5-6. Snow flurry is also expected in western aimags on
January 7. Wind speed will be 5-10 m/sec for most of the time.
In the depression of Uvs lake and Darkhad, in the head of
Zavkhan river and in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the nighttime
temperature will be -41 to -46 degrees Celsius and the daytime temperature
will be -31 to – 36 degrees Celsius.
The nighttime temperature will be -31 to -36 degrees Celsius in
mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul, Khentei, in Khuren belcher, in the
basins of Orkhon-Selenge, in the basins of Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, Terelk,
Kherlen, Onon, Ulz and Khalkh rivers. Whereas, the daytime temperature will be
-21 to -26 degrees Celsius.
In southern parts of gobi region, the nighttime temperature will
be -20 to -25, and the daytime temperature will be -9 to -14 degrees Celsius.
In other areas, the nighttime temperature will be -25 to -30,
and daytime temperature will be -14 to -19 degrees Celsius.
