National Championship for Speed Skating takes place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/.  The National Skating Union has successfully organized the first speed skating competition for 2019 at the skating rink in Khandgait on January 6. The championship took place on a 400 m rink, selecting its victors in the junior and youth divisions.


A total of 55 athletes participated in the national championship, representing Ulaanbaatar city as well as Bulgan, Khentii, Khuvsgul, Tuv and Orkhon aimags. Some of the best athletes in the scene, such as IM Ya.Zorigtbaatar, A.Tulga, A.Zul and B.Gereltuya, also competed in the championship.
