Rain expected in most parts of the country during the weekend

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Light showers are expected in the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai and Khuvsgul with temperature rising in most parts of the country.
Rain and thunderstorms are expected in most parts of western aimags and western region of central aimags on June 14, in most parts of the western, central and gobi region on June 15, in most parts of the country on June 16 and in most parts of the central, eastern and gobi regions on June 17.
Wind speed will reach 18-20 m/sec at some times in some parts of the country on June 14, and in the gobi and plains on June 15.
Temperature rises in the central, eastern and gobi region on June 14 and in the eastern region on June 15.
In mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentei, in the basins of Terelj river, the night-time temperature will range from +6 to +11 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +20 to +25.
In the gobi region and in the banks of Orkhon - Selenge, the temperature will be +18 to +23 during the night, and +30 to +35 during the day.
In other areas, the nighttime temperature will be +12 to +17 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +25 to +30 degrees Celsius.
