New Head of Swiss Cooperation in Mongolia appointed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Swiss Confederation has appointed Dr
Stefanie Burri as its Head of International Cooperation in Mongolia. She was
serving as Senior Advisor for International Development based at the SDC head
office in Bern, Switzerland before her appointment to the new role.
Dr Burri has a distinguished career in international
development spanning more than 30 years. From 2016 - 2018, she was the Head of
International Cooperation in Islamabad, Pakistan.
Previously, she has also held several management positions
at the SDC head office in Bern and abroad, including Ecuador.
Dr Burri received a PhD in Social Anthropology and a Master in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Bern, Switzerland. She chose Honduras and Paraguay for her field studies. In addition, she is a certified coach and trainer from the Institute of Applied Psychology in Zürich, Switzerland and specializes in human and organizational development.
She is fluent in German, French, Spanish and English.
