Mongolia-France joint projects discussed

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On March 25, Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg
received Ambassador of the French Republic to Mongolia Philippe Merlin.
At the outset of the meeting, Minister B. Battsetseg briefed
him on the Government’s objectives, actions, and efforts to prevent and combat
the COVID-19 pandemic and thanked the Government of France for providing the
necessary medical equipment to overcome the pandemic.
The parties also exchanged information on the progress of joint
projects, noting that the Government of Mongolia is working to support
investors and move some projects forward.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on mutually-interested
regional and international issues and agreed to expand bilateral cooperation
within the UN and other international organizations.
