COVID-19: 2,271 new cases reported, total reaches 104,900

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On June 25, the Ministry of Health reported that 2,271 new cases were detected in Mongolia after conducting tests nationwide within the past 24 hours. 

 

More specifically, 1,231 new cases were detected in the capital city with 1,040 cases in rural regions. 


As of today, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Mongolia now stands at 104,900. In the past 24 hours, 977 patients made recovery, bringing the total recoveries to 67,579. 

 

Furthermore, 11 new COVID-19 related deaths have been reported, raising the country's death toll to 493. Of the 13,296 patients currently undergoing treatment, there are 8,764 patients in mild, 3,149 in serious, 1,144 in critical, and 239 in very critical condition. In addition, 23,504 people with mild cases of COVID-19 are being isolated at home.
