Cooler weather on the way for most parts of the country this week

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Temperature drops are expected in most parts of the country starting from today on September 28.
Precipitation is expected in the northern parts of the central and eastern region tomorrow on September 29, in some parts of western aimags and in the central and eastern region on September 30, in some parts of the central and eastern region on October 1, and in some parts of western aimags and western parts of central aimags on October 2.
Wind speed will be 15-17 m/sec in some parts of the country during most times.
In the mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul, and Khentii, near Khurenbelchir, and in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the temperature will range from -10 to -15 degrees Celsius during the night, and +2 to +7 during the day.
In the basins of Eg, Uur, Orkhon, Selenge, Kharaa, Yuruu, Tuul, Terelj, Kherlen, Onon, Ulz, and Khalkh rivers, the night-time temperature will be -4 to -9 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +5 to +10 degrees Celsius.
In the southern Gobi region, the temperature will range from +5 to +10 degrees Celsius, and +14 to +19 during the day.
In other areas, temperatures are expected to be -3 to +2 during the night, and +8 to +13 during the day. Slightly warmer temperatures are expected from October 2.
