National Trauma and Orthopedic Research Center of Mongolia to Collaborate With Hanoi Medical University Hospital

Ulaanbaatar, November 29, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Director General of the National Trauma and Orthopedic Research Center of Mongolia (NTORC) E. Galbadrakh, and Associate Professor, Doctor Nguyen Lan Hieu, Director of Hanoi Medical University Hospital of the Republic of Vietnam, have signed a cooperation agreement and a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize their partnership.
Under this agreement, the NTORC and Hanoi Medical University Hospital will collaborate in various areas, including clinical technology, academic training, and research. The partnership will also encompass short and long-term training programs for medical professionals, joint diagnostic consultations, and surgical treatments.
As an initial step, plans have been made to send 10 medical specialists from NTORC to Vietnam for training in 2025. Furthermore, the Center will begin upgrading the digital system of its Radiology Department as part of the collaboration.
